KETTLE VALLEY RAILROAD

WE WENT UP TO PRINCETON TO CYCLE THE KVR FROM THERE TO COLEMONT LAST WEEK. HAD A FABULOUS TIME, AND THE RIDE WAS TOUGH, BUT THE SCENERY VERY BEAUTIFUL. WE SCALED A ROCK SLIDE, CLIMBED OVER NUMBEROUS ROUGH ROCKS AND A DOWNED TREE, WHICH MADE THE RIDE A BIT OF A CHALLENGE. THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE WAS COMING BACK IN THE 98 DEG. F. AFTERNOONS. GUESS WE MUST HAVE DONE OK THOUGH, BECAUSE A GROUP OF YOUNG ADULTS SAID WE MUST BE IN REALLY GREAT SHAPE TO DO THAT RIDE. NICE TO HEAR! I WOULD LOVE TO POST SOME PHOTOS, BUT DON'T SEEM TO BE ABLE TO RIGHT NOW......(HELP TERESA!!)
WE DIDN'T SEE ANY BEAR ON THE RIDE, BUT SAW SOME DEER AND SEVERAL GROUNDHOGS, AND WERE TOLD THERE WERE A COUPLE OF COYOTTES SPOTTED.
